A Wakizashi with silk bound hilt, gilt bronze tsuba decorated with bamboo, gilt bronze menuki modelled as flower sprays, fuchi-kashira decorated with pine sprays, flowers and egrets, a kozuka with a figure among waves beside trees, and a plain black lacquer scabbard -- the blade 19¾in.(50.2cm) long, signed, circa 1700.
