Of elongated octagonal form, carved allover with scenes of figures at various pursuits within dense settings of pavilions, pagodas, trees, boats and gardens, all within foliate borders, raised on four monster mask and paw supports, the clasp and interior also ivory and the base wood, repairs, cracks--14 1/4 in. (36.2cm.) long
