A well engineered 2in scale model of an articulated Clayton undertype wagon built by H.D.Bickley -- 17 x 61¾in (43 x 156.8cm) With braised superheated copper boiler hydraulic tested to 200psi with centre fueling shute and fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle, main stop, clack and blowdown valves. Engine details include twin cylinders with enclosed valve gear and cranks, ratchet operated lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass and single speed chain drive to rear axle (detached). Chassis details include worm and quadrant operated Ackerman steering, rubber tyred wheels with brass hub caps, working leaf springs, rear axle differential unit, water tank with hand feed pump, whistle, planked cab roof with removable rear panel and other details. Trailer details include riveted channel section frame, working leaf springs, rubber tyred wheels with brass hub caps and wooden platform sides and bottom. Finished in blue, red and varnish, (partially made cab doors)
