A well engineered 5in gauge model of the M.R. 4-4-2 Spinner locomotive and tender No.2601 'Princess of Wales' built by L.N.Wright -- 14 x 59½in (35.5 x 151.2cm)
With silver soldered superheated copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety (detached), blower, whistle, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin inside cylinders with Stephenson's link gear, footplate controlled draincocks, lubricator drive mechanism, dummy brake and sanding gear, salter safety valves, cylinder lubricator and pipework and compensated springing to bogie. Tender details include twin eccentric driven feed pumps and by-pass. water cocks, hand operated brake gear, hand feed pump, tool boxes, removable foot rests and seat, steps, hand and lamp irons. Finished in M.R. livery and lining, boiler certificates dated 13/7/80 and 1/3/85.
