A well engineered model twin oscillating cylinder reversing condensing paddle engine, built by P.E.B. Salvesen with metal clad cylinders 1¼ bore x 1in. stroke, two valves per cylinder with handwheel and screw operated Stephenson's link reverse with second link and yoke, centrally mounted air pump, studded stuffing boxes, inlet manifold with main stop valve and flanged joints, over mounted crankshaft with four main bearings and shaft couplings mounted on a railed laddered entablature supported on eight columns from a cast bed on wood plinth, finished in green and polished brightwork -- 6 1/8 x 10¾in. (15.5 x 27.4cm.)
