A WELL-PRESENTED AND DETAILED 50':1" SCALE WATERLINE MODEL OF H.M. CRUISER SHEFFIELD (1936)
modelled by G. Seston with masts, radio aerials, anchors, chains, capstans, main and secondary armament, deck rails, superstructure with bridge and open bridge over, radar, fire control, two funnels, four motor launches, two dinghy and two life boats in davits, cranes and many other details. The hull with lined decks, portholes and armour belting is finished in grey, black and matt and set on a moulded, painted seascape on display base within brass bound glazed case. Measurements overall -- 6½ x 20¼in. (16.5 X 51cm.)
