A WHITE-GLAZED ARCHAISTIC STEM BOWL AND COVER, DOU
GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER INCISED MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
The vessel is raised on a flared pedestal foot encircled by a raised collar and fitted with a domed cover with globular finial. Both are molded with bands of archaistic designs in crisp, shallow relief and covered inside and out with a creamy white glaze. The mark is incised in a line inside the flared foot.
