A WHITE JADE PLAQUE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The plaque is carved to one side with a scholar carrying a qin, the reverse with a seal reading xie qin fang you, which may be translated as 'carrying a qin to visit a friend', all surrounded by a border of scrolling clouds. The stone is of an even milky white tone.
