A Wilkinson's 'Circus' lampbase, designed by Dame Laura Knight and manufactured in the Clarice Cliff studio, modelled as a column of clowns and acrobats, painted in shades of pink, orange, green, yellow and black, highlighted in gilt on a stepped yellow and pink square base, printed factory marks and facsimile signature (firing flaw to base) -- 48cm.high
