A wood and gold lacquer sleeve inro decorated in hiramakie and togidashi with a basket on a pulley rope suspended between two buildings on either side of a steep gorge, the reverse decorated with further buildings by a river landscape, the side sliding to reveal four drawers with silver handles -- 2½in. high; bead ojime.
