Circa 1770, blue pseudo-Chinese character mark
Painted in the 'Old Mosaick Japan' pattern; together with a Worcester 'Quail' pattern saucer; a Worcester blue and white cream-jug painted with flowers; a Mason's ironstone green-ground Chinoiserie vegetable dish and cover, puce printed mark, pattern no. B8931; and a Derby (Stevenson & Hancock) pot-pourri

The cream-jug is most likely Lowestoft porcelain, the number 5 by tradition is attributed to Robert Allen, mananger circa 1780.
