Carved in two sections, the finial carved as a bird, its long parted beak holding a small cylindrical object, the beak's tip touching the edge of the oval base which is pierced about the border, grooved and dotted ornament to the wings, pierced through the top of the head and pierced three times through the tail, the lower section on four flared supports with incised ornament, dark patina
