The dish with rounded sides, the central medallion finely painted with aquatic plants, the cavetto decorated with a band of floral sprays, the everted rim bordered by a freely painted classic scroll, the underside with a border of lotus petal panels containing scroll and circle motfis, the wedge-shaped footrim and unglazed base revealing the plain biscuit burnt in a pale orange tone in the firing, rim chip restuck
