Etude pour Pensées de Pascal

This drawing served as the maquette for an etching that Gleizes executed for a special edition of Pascal's Pensées sur L'homme et dieu, published in 1950. An impression of the etching, 1950, from the book edition of about 200, measuring 8¾ x 3 in. (22.2 x 7.6 cm.) is sold with this drawing and pictured at right.
