woodcut, circa 1580, a Meder h impression, watermark Cross in Circle (M. 157), trimmed to the borderline, a repaired tear (11-in.) through the center of the subject, a few very small repaired tears at the sheet edges, a small made-up area at the lower left corner, several very small losses and filled-in spots at the left edge of the subject, minor surface soiling and staining, otherwise generally in good condition
