Lot Essay

Sunstar by Sunridge out of Doris won the Derby in 1911 by two lengths and was owned by the South African millionaire Mr J. B. Joel and trained by Charles Morton.
Lemburg by Cyllene out of Galicia won the Derby in 1910 by a neck and was owned by the Australian silver millionaire Mr A. W. Cox and was trained by A. Manton.
