Lot Essay

Dr Alice Davies has confirmed the attribution on the basis of a photograph in a communication dated 30 November 2004, and has kindly supplied the additional information regarding the 18th Century provenance of the drawing. Dr Davies considers the pen and brown ink to be by another hand.
