The pinned-on rococo silver mounts incorporating birds and flowers, containing ten of the original twelve fittings, including: a notched-end snuff spoon, a pair of silver handled steel scissors, a corkscrew, three knife blades, a spatula with ear pick, a pair of dividers, a two-pronged steel fork and an awl, 3½ in. (8.9 cm.) high; together with another 18th century shagreen etui, the mounts probably gold, comprising a pair of gold handled steel scissors, a pair of tweezers, a gold awl, a gold pencil and a gold inlaid tortoiseshell folding fruit knife with silver blade -- 3 5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) high
