The pair of circular iron sukashi tsuba designed with a rounded, lobed rim and carved with four sets of ginger plants separated by stylized birds in flight, the surface details carved with fine lines

With Tokubetsu kicho tosogu (Especially precious sword-fitting) certificate (for the dai only) no. 35 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword), dated 1976.9.22 (2)
