With a pair of doors depicting exotic birds in trees, with elaborate engraved lock plate and hinges, enclosing ten drawers and a plaque inscribed THIS CABINET BELONGED TO HERMAN BOERHAAVE, CELEBRATED DUTCH PHYSICIAN BORN 1668, DIED 1738, the stand with an old paper shipping label
