An Anglo-Indian parcel-gilt silvered-metal day bed
Probably circa 1880
The serpentine head-board surmounted by an urn finial, centred by a deity's mask above peacocks, the back centred by a coat-of-arms, flanked to each side by a roaring lion, the head- and foot-board each with a pierced baluster frieze, the serpentine aprons each centred by a lion mask, supported at each corner by a winged female deity
