Designed as a series of pearl and old-cut diamond arches to the fan- shaped spacers and two-row pearl and engraved gold band (pearls untested), circa 1830, lengthened to wear as a bandeau with gilt metal and imitation pearl back section, 21.5 cm. wide

Stéphanie de Beauharnais, niece of Empress Josephine and adopted daughter of Napoleon I, married on 25 July 1806 Karl Ludwig, who became Grand Duke of Baden in 1811
