AN ARCHAISTIC TURQUOISE-GLAZED BALUSTER VASE
QIANLONG INCISED SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND POSSIBLY OF THE PERIOD
The vase is incised at the shoulder with a band of confronted kui dragons on a leiwen ground, between pendent taotie mask lappets on the body and upright key-fret lappets on the neck, all under a bright turquoise glaze that also covers the interior and the base.
