AN ATTIC BLACK-FIGURED BAND-CUP

In the center of one side sits a sphinx with outstretched wings, and on the other side is a striding sphinx with outstretched wings, the sphinx framed on either side by a mantled figure, a large hen, and another mantled figure, a palmette on either side of each handle, details in added red and white, the reserved tondo with a black circle in the center
