The black lacquer ground decorated in takamaki-e of gold, silver and brown, tsukegaki, raden hirazogan, kirikane and shaped lead inlay, with flowers and grasses of autumn, including kikyo, ominaeshi, kiku, suzuki and fujibakama, continuing over the top and base, the interior in rich nashiji, with fundame rims
