Thomas Myers is recorded in the Gillow records from 1897-1840. Two dressing-tables made by Gillos for Parlington Hall, Yorks., had similar signatures to this davenport (see: C.Gilbert, Furniture at Temple Newsam House and Lotherton Hall, Leeds, 1978, vol.II, p.380, no.500)
