AN EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN POTTERY AMPHORA
2ND-1ST CENTURY B.C.
With twin vertical handles, tall cylindrical neck and collared rim, the body tapering towards small knob foot, with later metal stand; and another pottery amphora, the squat body with twin loop handles and short neck, the shoulder decorated with incised concentric circles, on small knob foot, circa 2nd-3rd Century A.D.
34 in. (87 cm.) and 21 in. (53 cm.) high respectively (2)
