With carving to the top of the arched case, solid sides, silvered and engraved Roman dial profusely decorated with foliate scrolls, signed J.W.BENSON/LONDON, blued steel moon hands, the eight day single chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and spot-finished back plate signed and numbered 10357/J.W. BENSON/LUDGATE HILL/LONDON -- 12in. (30.5cm.) high
