The tapering vessel with a rolled rim and rounded, knobbed base, the bail handle hooked into a ring on each side, a deeply engraved inscription below the rim reading, "Osiris, the Great God, of Abydos, giver of life; Padibastet, son of Paiu, his mother is Dimut-hes"
