The lacquer ground set with hardstones, glass, stained bone and hardwood to depict a vase supporting boughs of flowering chrysanthemum and plum blossom before a tasselled ruyi sceptre, above a plate of fruit flanked by a ribboned cash symbol and a jade carving of a monkey on horseback, all within a zitan frame supported by a bronze handle (minor losses repaired)
