THE BOTTLE, 1750-1850, EMBELLISHMENT JAPANESE, TSUDA FAMILY, KYOTO, 1920-1940
The bottle is embellished in lacquer and soapstone with a bird perched on a fruiting peach branch on one side and on the reverse with a female immortal holding a rose in one hand and a basket of flowers in the other while standing in front of a flowering branch. The stone is of even white tone.
