An English black lacquer longcase clock
The case with giltwood ball finials to the hood with later stepped top, pilasters flanking the door and with glazed side panels, the breakarch trunk door with gilt decorated chinoiserie scenes, on stepped plinth with later base, the 12in. brass dial with mask and foliate spandrels to a chapter ring signed Graham London, with half hour and half quarter hour markers, the matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring, with ringed winding holes and conforming frame to the date aperture also engraved around with birds and a fruiting basket, cut steel hands (hour broken), with hatch engraved top border and border to the arch, now with painted backplate behind a rocking Chronos figure, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; dial and movement first quarter 18th century and associated to second quarter 18th century case -- 96½in. (245cm.) high

All lots sold not cleared by 1.00p.m. on the Thursday following the sale will be removed to the warehouse of:

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate on the Friday following the sale and every weekday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PURCHASERS WHO COLLECT THEIR LOTS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE SALE.
On the Thursday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
