The bell straps rising from urn finials, with pierced brass side frets, the dolphin engraved and pierced front fret signed Thomas Loomes London, lacking side and rear doors, on knop feet, the silvered and engraved dial with 1in. wide silvered chapter ring, lacking alarm disc, later hands, the twin train movement with verge escapement with later back-swinging pendulum and outside countwheel, lacking alarm train, re-trained strike train -- 14in. (35.5cm.) high

No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis.

On the Thursday, one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
