AN ENGLISH DELFT POLYCHROME OVIFORM JAR AND COVER
CIRCA 1700-1725, BRISTOL OR LONDON
With applied loop handles with twisted terminals to the shoulder, the
body boldly painted with exotic birds perched on pierced rockwork among flowering shrubs, the stepped shoulder and lower part with concentric
blue and yellow bands, the domed cover with trailing flowers and button finial
8¾ in. (22.2 cm.) high
