Worked mainly in tent stitch in coloured silks with a central elegant lady playing the lute, possibly the muse Polyhymnia, the hillocky ground with various stylised floral and fruit sprigs, a leopard, cricket, kingfisher, parrot, dragonfly and other similar birds, animals and insects, framed and glazed, very slight damage and restorations, inscribed and labelled to the verso 'Lord Hollenden, Hall Place, Leigh, Tonbridge, Kent'
