The back profusely carved with a central stylised tree of life and initialled 'WB'
43in. (110cm.) high, the seat 24in. (61cm.) wide, 16in. (40cm.) deep

This chair is sold with the sale room notice from the 1973 auction, which suggests a Yorkshire provenance given to Fred Roe by a previous owner, Canon K.C Robinson,
