The king -- 3 1/8in. (8cm.) high, the pawn -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) high

Lot Essay

This pattern is often attibuted to John Calvert, a Master of the Worshipful Company of Turners, established from circa 1795 until the mid 1800's.
