An Imari bowl with flaring rim and short foot, painted and gilt with vases of flowers, birds perched on rockwork, scattered sprays of peonies and prunus and cartouches of trailing, blossoming branches -- 10in. (25.4cms) diam, circa 1700, (slight fritting).
