Lot Essay

This beautifully crafted crocodile revitalizes the spirit of the animal jewels of the 1960s and 70s. It is reminiscent of a necklace consisting of two crocodiles, one in yellow diamonds and the other in emeralds, created in 1975 by Cartier for the Mexican film actress, Maria Felix.
