AN INCISED ARCHAISTIC WHITE JADE 'DRAGON' BLADE, GUI
QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY
The blade is carved on each side with a pair of ascending dragons contesting a flaming pearl underneath the constellation, all above mountains emerging from crashing waves. The stone is of an even semi-translucent white tone with a high polish.
