The eight-plate iron bowl fitted with a four-stage gilt-copper tehen kanamono (ornamental ring on top of the bowl) and kasa jirushi no kan (ring on the back of the bowl); four-lame solid-plate neck guard lacquered black on the exterior and laced in spaced blue lacing with the bottom lame laced in orange and trimmed at the front of the third lame with animal hair; fukikaeshi (turnbacks) partly covered with stencilled leather; gilt wood maedate (forecrest) of a demon
