The bulbous form with round shoulder, applied with two handles and a bronze lid by the 10th-generation kettle master, Nagoshi Yagoro Masaharu, with pierced finial cast as a brocade ball set on a flat plate in the shape of a floret

With wood box authenticated and signed by the 10th-generation kettle maker, Nagoshi Yagoro Masaharu (d. 1880), dated Keio 2 (1866)
