Inlaid overall with geometric bands, the rectangular spreading top with central feathered cartouche engraved 'LA' above a pair of cupboard doors enclosing an architectural interior with variously sized drawers, figures within niches enclosing secret wells, and medallions of Roman emperors, the reverse of the doors conformingly inlaid, on later bun feet, the stand with a pair of frieze drawers with figural handles, on turned legs joined by an H-shaped stretcher, on later toupie feet, the ormolu figures later, the ivory medallions probably 19th century
