AN ITALIAN SMALL QUILLON DAGGER
Early 17th Century
With double-edged blade, thick rectangular ricasso, iron hilt formed of a pair of moulded quillons with fluted ring-guard between, globular pommel chiselled in the form of three ornamental bands, prominant tang button, spirally moulded grip retaining its original brass wire binding and 'Turk's heads', and in its original tooled leather scabbard with plain locket and chape
