carved kneeling attempting to open a box in front of him with a rat seated on his shoulder -- 2in. (5cm.) wide; an ivory netsuke of a farmer wearing long robes and hat -- 2 3/8in. (6cm.) high; an ivory netsuke of a father and son feeding a bird beside a goat -- 1 5/8in. (4.1cm.) wide; an ivory netsuke of a clam shell with figures to the interior and on top -- 1 3/8in. (3.5cm.) high; an ivory bearded immortal -- 2 1/8in,. (5.4cm.) high; an ivory netsuke of a man seated on a horse -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) high; an ivory netsuke of a man playing a large drum beside a small boy -- 2 1/8in. (5.4cm.) wide; and another netsuke of standing figure wearing long robes -- 2in. (5.1cm.) high, some signed. (8)
