An unusual and well engineered 7¼in. gauge petrol/electric powered model of the prototype BR Deltic diesel/electric locomotive built by R. Forster, 1986 -- 20 x 114in. (50.8 x 289.3 cm)
With Kohler 8-hp electric start single cylinder petrol engine driving an A.C. Alternator supplying current to two motors (one to each bogie) with regenerative braking, halogen headlamp and remote control unit. Controls include 'dead man's handle' master on/off key, ammeter speed control and appropriate switches. Body details include glazed cabs, removeable panels, intake and exhaust louvres, buffers and many other details. Finished in blue. Circuit diagrams, engine and operating instructions and readily fitted lifting cradle
