The drum-shaped case suspended from the beak of a heron with outspread wings and standing on a naturalistic base, the dial with individual white enamel Roman cartouche chapters and blued steel hands, the German eight day twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, stamped for LENZKIRCH (possibly associated, adapted suspension) -- 15¼in. (39cm.) high; and the pair of three-light candelabra en suite, the scrolling foliate branches rising from the backs of minogame cranes -- 20in. (51cm.) high (3)
