AN UNUSUAL LARGE ROCK CRYSTAL SNUFF BOTTLE
THE RUSTIC CRYSTAL MASTER, 1760-1860
The bottle is carved in high relief on one side through the mottled grey and brown skin of the stone with an eagle standing on a rock in silhouette against the wind-tossed waves and mountains carved in low relief on the clear crystal body.
3 ¼ in. (8.2 cm.) high, agate stopper
