Gilt-brass crucifix-shaped cylinder movement, plain three arm brass balance, metal cuvette, small white enamel dial, black Roman numerals, gilt spade hands, outer red Arabic five minute divisions, dial revealed by opening the domed silver cover decorated with a dove in high relief, translucent royal blue enamel decorated crucifix-form case, applied raised leaf and geometrical decoration, openwork foliage decorated border, all four sides each set with a gilt crown, the one on the left for winding, the one on the right for time-setting, engine-turned hinged reverse engraved with two overlapping crosses intertwined by a crown of thorns, unsigned
