Note:
The inscription by Chen Jiru compares this painting to works by Dong Yuan, and asks Xuanzhao (Wang Jian, 1598-1677) to treasure this painting which is not to be overlooked. Dong Qichang attributes this painting to the Five Dynasties/Song master Juran, pupil of Dong Yuan.
